This is an exciting time to be alive. Jesus said to the religious leaders in Matthew 16:3:
“Hypocrites, you know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.”
Times and seasons are important to God. My friend, now more than ever, we must be aware of the season we are living in. We are not like the heathen who look to days. God moves in seasons and cycles and He does keep a calendar in Heaven. I believe that Jesus is coming and coming sooner than we think. We must be busy about our Father’s business like never before. I don’t know about you, but I feel a tremendous urgency in my spirit, even as I write this, that time is running out to reach our world for Jesus.
The two Greek words to describe time are Chronos and Kairos. Chronos means a period of time or space, duration. Kairos means content and quality of time, marked by certain features, a season of time, a period possessed of certain characteristics, and opportunity.
Chronos marks quantity and Kairos quality. Kairos in the New Testament means “The appointed time in the purpose of God, the time when God acts.”
God spoke to me and said: “There is a season open to us right now to arrange and make ready the way of the Lord. This is a period of time that will be marked by certain features and opportunities that have NEVER been available to us in the Body of Christ before. It is a season of opportunity for those who will take it.”
God will not force you to take advantage of this opportunity. You must be able to recognize it and seize it. We cannot be like the religious leaders Jesus was addressing, who were blinded to who stood before them, but we must be able to discern what the Lord is doing. I have heard the Lord speak clearly to me that we must seize our Kairos moment while it is available.
I believe that we are on the verge of the greatest revival and move of God that the world has ever experienced. So how does this affect you? I believe that God is breathing on His people during this time of shaking in the world. It’s no secret that the world is being shaken up. The world’s economies are crumbling. Natural disasters and diseases are increasing.
We must not be afraid and we must not look at our circumstances. Our God, the maker of the Heavens and the earth, is still on the Throne and NOTHING can change that. The purging fire of the Lord is being released.
As we have entered into 2010, we have entered a new cycle. The number 10 means the completeness of divine order. It represents a new set of numbers, a new decade, and a New Beginning.
Are you ready for this? This new cycle means NOTHING WANTING!
I believe that, during this Kairos moment we are living in, God is going to supernaturally provide for His people! This will not be the work of a man, but the divine provision of Almighty God for His people. I believe that we are entering a season of nothing wanting.
- Nothing wanting in your families!
- Nothing wanting in your finances!
- Nothing wanting in your physical bodies!
My friend, no matter what you are going through right now, I believe that God wants you to step into the nothing-wanting anointing for your life to prepare you for this great revival. I don’t care what you have been through or what you may be going through right now. I believe that God wants to release breakthrough into every area of your life.
“With God, all things are possible.” - Matthew 19:26
Today's Challenge
Today, I want to challenge you to give a special gift. I am asking you to give in increments of 10s. Why? For the simple reason that you are showing God that you are coming into agreement with Him and believing Him to release the nothing-wanting anointing on your life. Maybe that’s $10, $50, $100, or $1000. I am not telling you what to do, just giving you the word I feel the Lord has shared with me.
First, let me say that you cannot buy a miracle. Therefore, that’s not what I am suggesting. But I do believe that our giving is connected to God’s provision. Our money represents a piece of us. It takes your time and energy to earn your paycheck. Money is important to God because it’s not just a piece of paper; it’s a piece of you. That’s what God is after: our heart and our faith to believe Him to do what He says He will do. The Bible tells us that “without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).
Please pray about it and ask God what amount to give. Give God a piece of you. Give God a gift that costs you something, not your leftovers, and watch as God releases the nothing-wanting anointing on your life for His glory during this turbulent time in the world.
